hm... I'm not entirely sure but I dist-upgraded either from hardy or from an earlier intrepid stage.
><jcristau> but aiui upgrades from dapper need to go through hardy, so they'd drop that package at that point intrepid doesn't have to care and there's the flaw in the logic: Removing a package from the archive won't automatically remove it from a users system. As it looks, nothing ever replaced/conflicted against the -driver-* packages so these were simply left around on my system up to intrepid. P.S.: I assume that it's safe to drop the conflicts after intrepid is released though.
