hm... I'm not entirely sure but I dist-upgraded either from hardy or
from an earlier intrepid stage.

and there's the flaw in the logic: Removing a package from the archive
won't automatically remove it from a users system. As it looks, nothing
ever replaced/conflicted against the -driver-* packages so these were
simply left around on my system up to intrepid.

P.S.: I assume that it's safe to drop the conflicts after intrepid is
released though.
