When creating a new image using the wizard, installing from the hardy-
desktop-amd64.iso to a 3.5GB image file, with the "OS Variant" set to
"Ubuntu Hardy", the installation (from LiveCD desktop or directly via
"Install.." at the boot menu, at the end of the installer run grub
reports:
"Executing grub-install /dev/hd0 failed. This is a fatal error."
If the installer Advanced... options are used to install to /dev/sda the
same error occurs:
"Executing grub-install /dev/sda failed. This is a fatal error."
