inspircd now builds on Intrepid:
$ rmadison inspircd
inspircd | 1.1.17+dfsg-1 | hardy/universe | source, amd64, i386
inspircd | 1.1.20+dfsg-1ubuntu1 | intrepid/universe | source, amd64, i386
So now version 1.1.20 is available for users.
@Robin: as upstream you may be interested in the fix:
debian/patches/04_include-limits-h.dpatch:
* Explicitly include limits.h for gcc 4.3 (LP: #247358)
