Binary package hint: ubuntu-desktop
ubuntu-desktop package now recommends both ttf-indic-fonts-core, which
provides TTF fonts for various Indic languages including malayalam, as
well as indic-malayalam-fonts which also provided TTF fonts for
Malayalam. But no other ttf-fonts packages specific to any other Indic
languages is recommended other than Malayalam.
As TTF fonts for Malayalam is already available and provided by ttf-
indic-fonts-core, which is a single package addressing all Indic
languages, recommending ttf-malayalam-fonts might be actually
unnecessary. Hence ttf-malayalam-fonts can be removed from the
recommends section of ubuntu-desktop.
