Yes, I have such gksu version too:

The quoted problem, it also happened with Synaptic and with Sessions...
Sometimes, it just don't open!?
While the "Report a problem..." app, it simply never does open.
Further this annoying problem of sometimes-not-opening-the-applications,
it also happened to me in Kubuntu.
