Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xfce4-mixer

Ubuntu 8.04.1
xfce4-mixer 1:4.4.2-2ubuntu2

When adding and editing a profile in the xfce4-mixer (View->Manage), the list
of enabled items is always being randomized. When pressing OK, this new order
is "correctly" used. Trying to order the items in any particular way is a
ridiculous task, because everytime you edit it you have to start all over again.
In addition, when restarting the application, any order settings are lost once
again (The custom profile is not selected by default, although its radio button
in the "View" menu is active - but I guess this is a different bug?)
Interestingly, the sort order of *disabled* items remains the same in the
list(even if you do try to change it). Those items stay in the order of the
list that is shown with File->Options.

** Affects: xfce4-mixer (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
