Public bug reported:

I am putting this on the image package, although I have no proof that
this is actually the culprit.

After a short while of using the system (time ranges between 10-30
minutes), my keyboard is freezing, although my mouse is working fine.

I am using a Lenovo 3000 N100 laptop with an external usb keyboard and
external mouse (the latter belonging to a bundle called Logitech S 510)

At this point, I can use the system fine, however I am not able to type
in anything, either using the usb keyboard or the built-in keyboard.
This behavior only happens when the usb keyboard is plugged in.

If I click on the upper right corner and try to restart the computer, a
kernel dump is displayed along with a segmentation fault message,
although, since I cannot use my keyboard or anything at that point, I
don't actually know whether it is the kernel that is crashing. Since my
system stops responding to anything at this point, I thought it might
be.

This is a relatively new install of hardy (about 2 weeks old) with no
"custom" tweaks or anything like that installed.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
