Public bug reported:
the progress bar goes from orange to all black like it should (showing
that it is shutting down), but then the computer hangs up at the end.
no orange in the progress bar left, keyboard is turned off, and it just
sits there with "ubuntu" showing and an empty progress bar. only way
out is by manually shutting down computer. this does not occur on
"feisty". this happens on dell dimension 9200 and dell optiplex 330.
