I would like to confirm this problem in edgy. I'm using a BCM4318 with
bcm43xx driver, Ubuntu kernel 2.6.17.10-generic.

If I enable Wireless SSID Broadcast on my router, I'm able to connect to
it easily with Network Manager. If I enter the information manually,
however, it doesn't work. My router is a WRT54GS v4 running DD-WRT and
set to use WPA2 Pre-Shared Key Mixed (reverts to WPA1), TKIP+AES.

My connection also works fine setup in /etc/network/interfaces.

Also, if I use ndiswrapper instead of bcm43xx, I CAN connect to my
hidden network with Network Manager. I'm not really sure what this
means, since the original bug reporter was using an ipw2200 card and had
the same problem.

** Changed in: network-manager (Ubuntu)
