Maybe the work-around you're referring to is here? http://www.ubuntugeek.com/fix-for-firefox-crashes-on-flash-contents-when-using-libflashsupport-in-hardy.html
I get behavior similar to what you describe on my Intel Core Duo machine: I don't see a gray box in Liferea, just a blank where the Flash embed should be; opening the post up in a tab reveals a functional Flash applet. I had one video hang Liferea for a moment, but when I closed the tab, the video disappeared and Liferea didn't crash. The workaround doesn't seem to change the behavior of Firefox (which was working fine for me, and still is). -- Liferea crashes with embedded Flash videos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255595 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
