Can you confirm if this is still an issue with the latest Hardy Heron
8.04 release? If so, can you please attach the appropriate debugging
information as outlined here:
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeamBugPolicies . Because of the nature
of the bug (ie the system hangs) you will likely want to attach
/var/log/kern.log.0 after you reboot instead of your dmesg output.
