Interestingly, I found a copy of Tahoma/Tahoma Bold inside Microsoft's WEFT: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/web/embedding/weft3/weft01.htm ("cabextract WEFTIII2b1.exe" then "cabextract fonts.cab" then "wine tahoma.exe" will put the two in Wine's C:\windows\Fonts)
But unfortunately its not redistributable. (BTW, WEFT appears to be part of *yet another* sinister Microsoft plot to make the web proprietary; see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Embedded_OpenType for some info; its basically DRM for fonts online... not surprisingly, only IE supports it, though MS would like it to become a 'standard') -- msttcorefonts lacks the 'Tahoma' font https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/50529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
