Thanks, Chris. However, it looks like I can't manage the status of this bug, even though I created it. It says, "You are not the bug assignee nor the maintainer of Ubuntu, and therefore cannot edit this bug's status."
I had previously tried to attach multiple files independently, but when I selected a new file to upload, it appeared to replace the previous file that I had attached. Do you mean that I can attach them to separate comments or that I can attach them all to a single comment? As a user of Ubuntu, I believe it is my obligation to report what I consider as important bugs. Thank *you* for your work on fixing bugs!! -- John ----- Original Message ---- From: Chris Coulson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, August 14, 2008 12:38:06 PM Subject: [Bug 194629] Re: Ubuntu OS crashes, apparently by just moving mouse This bug report is being closed due to your last comment regarding this no longer being a problem. For future reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by clicking on the current status in the yellow line and then choosing a new status in the revealed drop down box. You can learn more about bug statuses at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Status . Also, you can attach multiple files independently, but you have to upload them one at a time. This is the preferred way of doing it as opposed to uploading a single tar file. Thank you again for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
