Public bug reported: After removing an ide data disk from the system, leaving only a sata- disk, resume from suspend stopped working.
Here is the output I get when resuming (I had to enable "Repost video on S3 resume" in the BIOS to be able to see this): pnp: Failed to activate device 00:0d. ata1: failed to set xfermode (err_mask=0x4) Buffer I/O error on device sda1, logical block 12003441 ... (9 more similar lines) Aborting journal on device sda1. EXT-3 fs error (device sda1) in ext3_reserve_inode_write: Journal has aborted Remounting filesystem read-only Buffer I/O error on device sda1, logical block 3 ... (9 more similar lines) I'm on Edgy with a 2.6.17 kernel and the system is updated with all the latest packages.
