Public bug reported:

Hello,

I observed a really disturbing thing. On a clean install (didn't do any
tweaking yet) I simply tried to run an aplication from kicker. I
recieved message "/usr/share (...) <app_name>.desktop service is
damaged" for each application on kicker. When I tried to log out the
screen suddenly dissappeared and there wasn't any splashy logout screen,
only messages about... checking the filesystem. Neither did the system
reboot - I had to do this manually. This seems to be something
critical...
