Why is this marked as Incomplete? On the other hand, I can confirm this bug. Amarok unmounts the drive almost every time I close it. I doubt there is any data loss, since the drive cannot be unmounted while in use unless you use sudo to start amarok.
If I play music from the USB drive with another player, the drive is not unmounted by amarok. I think it is a bug in Amarok, though.
