Binary package hint: usplash
I am not getting any desktop display on Intrepid Alpha 4 on 32bit
version of ALTERNATE Ubuntu.
On the first start I got nothing but mouse cursor and amber background.
On the second start (after doing a forced button shutdown - could not
even get to prompt using keyboard), I got mouse cursor plus display of
Hardy Heron background but NO panels, menus, etc.
This seems to be going backwards. I did not have all of these problems
on the Alpha 3 version.
