Try disabling the boot splash screen by removing the "splash" parameter
from the kernel command line. Some corruption bugs with the splash-
screen sometimes mean my boxes X11 driver won't display anything.
Removing the splash screen fixes that temporarily.
This is with Intrepid kernel, video drivers, X.org, on a Hardy box.
