Given that Sam the original bug reporter commented this was due to a
hardware issue as well as biskicinek's most recent hardware issue
comment, I'm going to close this report for now. For those of you still
experiencing issues with the most recent Hardy Heron 8.04 release please
open a new bug report. Thanks.
