You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Care to
test the most recent Hardy Heron 8.04 release -
http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download . I'm also curious which
application you used to try to burn your CD/DVD. Please let us know
