Yes, SpeedTouch is the name of my network.

When I start my PC, I must do System -> Administration -> Driver Hardware,
enter the password, disable the "Support for Atheros 802.11 ....", enable the
same Driver, wait until the card wakes up and open the WICD to connect my PC in
internet.
To solve my problem I "open" to any solution, but, if is possible, I prefer to
know how convince Ubuntu to load the driver when I start the system.

If exist an open-source driver better than the "restricted", is a good
thing, but I think that the system must work with the driver that it
automatically loaded.

The system doesn't know my competence in Information Systems, so if I am
a housewife that use Ubuntu because is a good alternative to Windows
(because is free), then I want put my tp-link in the slot and I want
that the tp-link works.

I believe in the open-source project and I think that Ubuntu is a real
alternative to Windows and I think that in few years Ubuntu can overtake
Windows, but it must think to the housewifes.

I hope my think is clear, the language doesn't help me.

Cheers
Paolo
