I am using Ubuntu 8.10. Before there used to be this large quick dialog
with all log out, switch user, hibernate, etc buttons. I have notices
the separation of this dialog into "log out" and "shutdown" (for example
there are two panel applets for each function).
I experience a problem with the shutdown dialog -- it does not shutdown
or restart. I click on the button but nothing happens. The same happens
for example with the restart after upgrade dialog.
