Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

OS:Ubuntu 8.04.1
FF3: 3.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.04.3(hardy-updates)
         3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3(hardy)

All been working fine ever since i installed the OS,its past 2 months or so
the browser was working fine, just for me to wakeup today and find my bookmarks
gone, and for some reason the back/forward/stop buttons don't work and the
address bar doesnt change,as its empty at the moment even thought im on the
site here
the addons are still there,i didn't update anything in FF,not even addons
(disabled check for updates on startup)
I tried restoring the bookmarks through the Bookmarks organizer, when i select
the JSON file i get (Unable to process the backup file)
So i tried using the bookmarks.html (the one i used when i first installed
ubuntu to import my old bookmarks) and yet,it didnt worth either !!
I tried reinstalling Firefox3 from the synaptic manager, but nothing worked
