This sounds like it could be a permissions issue on your Firefox
profile. Have you run Firefox with sudo at all? Could you please try re-
setting the permissions by doing the following:
sudo chown -R $USER:$USER ~/.mozilla
...then try running Firefox normally again. If it doesn't work, then
please try with a fresh user profile.
