Binary package hint: empathy
I connect to an IRC server with nick1, join a channel and chat. Then I
change the nick to nick2 at the Accounts dialog and re-connect. When I
re-join the previous room I chatted in, I still see my old nick nick1 in
Empathy, but others see me as nick2.
