To clarify I was not talking about alt-tab making a desktop switch to the right. Rather it was graphical windows which is displayed, the one showing an icon for each of your open windows. This is when compiz/beryl stuff is turned off. For some reason this which, which is normally centered on the screen, is off centered, in both cases it seems that it was shifted to the right side of the screen.
