This issue is not about the mouse cursor, but about the graphic for the thing that fires the bubbles. As evidenced by the screenshot, this has been a real bug in the past, so I have asked the reporter for confirmation if this issue still exists in the latest version. The bug will be closed if no response is received, but only after the reporter has had sufficient time to reply (4 weeks).
