Public bug reported:

This is my first bug report here and I am not totally sure, that this bug
hasn't been reported before (I checked the list tough).
I went on the webpage of the unofficial ubuntu faq and firefox told me that
there is a plugin missing to show this page properly (on the top). So I clicked
on the "install plugin" button and everything seemed to work (no errormessage).
After doing this Firefox always crashes without any warning, on many webpages
(the graphical intensive ones). It makes browsing absolutely impossible.
I believe that I installed some kind of flash player but I am not absolutely
sure.
I don't know if you need this info, but I give it just in case:
- I just installed ubuntu today on this computer.
- the first thing I did was installing automatix2
- I updated a lot using automatix2, but I forgot the flash update.
So that is pretty much what I can say about it.

Finally I have a remark on this bug report system:
I found it very inconvenient that I needed firefox to sent this report.
I had to log in, which than resulted in you sending me information to my e-mail
address. Unfortunately I can't access my e-mails due to this bug. So somehow
this doesn't seem right. Fortunately I have another computer in my house, that
solved this problem. Maybe this system should be changed somehow.
I was missing the simple button "submit my bug" when I got the bugreport on my
computer. Isn't this possible? Just a thought.
Don't get me wrong though, I am very thankfull for the work that you guys do
and me and my wife use linux happily for a few years.
Thank you
Birk Reichenbach
