Sorry for the delay in getting these logs. I just tried letting the system run down, and the hibernation happened properly, but I am attaching the logs anyway. I'm going to guess that, in the past, the battery was running down more quickly than it was this time - it was idle this time, whereas in the past I've had programs open which may have actually been doing something when the hibernation kicked in. It did happen at 1% and 1 minute though, rather than right when the battery hit 1% or 2 minutes.
Is there a way to patch this so that the hibernation occurs at either 2 or 3 minutes and/or 1% of battery regardless of the time remaining? ** Attachment added: "g-p-m log when letting system battery run all the way down" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4940123/gpmlog.txt -- gnome-power-manager does not hibernate when battery is critical https://launchpad.net/bugs/50868 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
