This looks like your file system is corrupted, perhaps due to powering
off without shutting down properly or perhaps due to some hardware
fault.

Reassigning to dpkg since it's neither base-passwd's nor sound-juicer's
fault, but it's unlikely that dpkg can actually do anything about it
either; perhaps you could try reinstalling the sound-juicer package?
