Same problem on the same Acer model: Acer Aspire 5024 dmesg start to get filled with this error and eventualy system (hard)locks up. I can only move mouse pointer and thats it. No respons on any running program. Even restarting X doesnt help. It starts to restart X but the proces hangs and only background is visible. Only reboot works.
Is there any workaround becouse this bug is getting on my nerves? Downgrade/upgrade kernel maybe?
