hello i have this annoying bug (on 2 differents PC)
it concerns some dialog boxes that freezes each time i click on its buttons,
whilst it is not supposed to freeze
for example when installing the java runtime 6
i get this dialog box called "debconf on pc" where i have to accept the license
in order to complete installation
and each time i click on a button it freezes the window for 3 min,
so ticking [v] to the java license and pressing [forward] button took me 6 min
:(
(...at last java has been installed)
this bug also happens with "SUM" StartUp-Manager program which also freezes
each time i select an option or click a button
and others programs are also concerned by this bug
i installed and use ubuntu hardy heron on the 2 differents PC bought newly this
year,
i tried updating many times at different levels (recommended, important, pre
release, unsupported) but the bug remained
i searched online for a way to fix it, but i could not find anything
