Public bug reported:

I have a dedicated PC for running Zoneminder. The PC hangs after 1 to 4 days
of operation. It no longer responds to pings. There is nothing unusual in the
logs.

I haven't tried running other kinds of loads on it. The PC is fairly standard
hardware with the addition of a Bluecherry PV-143 video capture card.
I suspect the kernel hangs in the video driver.

CPU: Athlon 64 3800+/2.4G Socket AM2
Motherboard: Asus M2N-MX SE

I am running Ubuntu 7.10 server and this stock kernel:
Linux security 2.6.22-15-server #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 19:54:13 UTC 2008 i686
GNU/Linux

I am a programmer. I haven't debugged the Linux kernel before,
but I am familiar with low-level debugging (I have attached gdb to a
running VMware virtual machine monitor), so, upon request, I can try
to find out exactly where it's hanging. Just let me know.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
