To load yakuake automatically when you login, you should go to: (In Gnome)
System->Preferences->Sessions->Init Programs(I don't know if it's the name in 
English, in Spanish is similar)->Add (and here you should select yakuake-kde4 
or yakuake, type the description... and that's all :) )
