I have a pentium M 1.6GHz (centrino) speedstep enabled processor laptop.
every time I switch on the machine - the scaling governor "performance"
is used. I hope by default it will make sense to use "ondemand".
Model HP pavilion ZT3000, aka. X1000.
I do not know the behavior in dapper (as I made a fresh install from
debian to kubuntu)
