My last install was the default (via live cd) with Hardy final and I
didn't have any problems with that particular build. I'll note though
that this has happened in the past - it'll look like it's fixed in a
late beta or final release, and then be broken again when the next
version comes around. I assume this means that the problem is farther
upstream, but I'm not a developer-type so I can't say for sure. :-)

I'm a bit swamped right now with medical problems and a death in the
family, but I'll try a nightly build (or one that someone suggests) as
soon as I'm able. Now I have to go find out what animal is "Intrepid".
Heh. Let me know if there's anything else I can do.
