I'm using a Dell 2001FP Monitor on Ubuntu Hardy Heron 8.04 32-bit and a
Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2 with the latest kernel updates and module
updates pushed out by the update server. My monitor has a USB hub (2
ports on it) that used to work but now is broken--plug in a USB key into
it, and nothing happens.
Can someone please tell me how to get support for my monitor's 2 USB
ports back? Yes, the connection between the USB cable on the monitor
and the computer is good. I checked it.
