Further information: I've tried removing the keyboard/mouse and I still got the same problem, so maybe that's not it?
I have a wireless card that's a Belkin F5D7000 with a realtek rtl8185 chipset. Is the rtl8180 kernel module loaded by default in Alpha 4? If so, I can try removing the wireless card from the PC and see if I can get into gnome then. Sorry that there isn't more technical info in this, but I can try different things that anyone suggests in order to resolve this. -- liveCD doesn't boot to gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258073 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
