Hi Scott,

I just wanted to let you know that it looks like both drivers are
enabled in the upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release for x86_64:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/ubuntu-intrepid/debian/config$ grep -rn
"CONFIG_SCSI_DPT_I2O" *
amd64/config:2339:CONFIG_SCSI_DPT_I2O=m
i386/config:2494:CONFIG_SCSI_DPT_I2O=m

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/ubuntu-intrepid/debian/config$ grep -rn "CONFIG_I2O_BLOCK" *
amd64/config:1043:CONFIG_I2O_BLOCK=m
i386/config:1119:CONFIG_I2O_BLOCK=m

If you'd like to give the most recent Alpha for Intrepid a test to
verify this should be resolved for the upcoming release, you can find
more information at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing. In the mean time,
I'll open the Hardy nomination for the kernel team to consider enabling
the dpt_i2o driver for x84_64 in Hardy. Thanks.
