better. For your kind information, 8.04.1 is not Gutsy, it's Hardy :)
So, your bug is in Hardy i.e. 8.04.1? Check out Sound Preferences dialog
from System > Preferences > Sound menu item. Here you can specify the
Sound server your Media Players should be using under "Music and Movies"
option and server for sound capture and playback in "Audio Conferencing"
option. Can you try these out and let us know if that solves your
problem? Thanks in advance.
