Sorry, that was a little terse and rude sounding.

The problem was noticed on a custom kernel, but I was able to replicate
it by disabling the net-pf-10 alias in /etc/modprobe.d/, which I do
think is a valid setup from a support point of view.

As it happens, this bug is as much for tracking as anything else because
the same problem is already listed upstream and it would be of use to
us.
