I can confirm this as well. Folders on an attached USB harddrive which I
had before as well suddenly causes problems. When opening this folder of
about 30GB with about 7000 mp3's it freezes for a while after which it
does show the files. At other times though, it freezes everything and
even gnome menu's open very very slow (click system => wait about 5
minutes => menu opens..)
This is only a 8.04 problem. On 7.10 I had no problems with this folder.
