Hi there. Will the linux-image-2.6.27-* package be made available using aptitude? You say it's currently available, but I couldn't find it.
I would be happy to try a new linux kernel version out, particularly if it includes a fix for the FAR FAR more serious bug 63134 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-source-2.6.24/+bug/63134). A fix for bug 186167 would mean one less line in my log file, whereas a fix for bug 63134 would mean my computer would not fail to start when I try to use it with ACPI power management switched on.
