Public bug reported:
The KDE Storage Media panel-applet doesn't show CD's, USB-sticks etc.
when the system is booted with the CD / USB-stick already inserted /
plugged in.
When inserting a CD or plugging in a USB-stick if I have already logged
in, they appear correctly in the Storage Media applet.
