Hi Jarno, It sounds like firefox may have crashed. We need a bit more information though like a stack trace or instructions on how to re-create the crash.
As far as whether your system has been compromised, an application crashing probably doesn't indicate this. However, that isn't really the subject of a bug report, it is a support request. If you are concerned about security I suggest you ask at the forums or file a support request at http://launchpad.net/support.
