To clarify what is meant by keyboard scrolling is that if you select
the first file in the folder and then use the down key to move forward
(zoom level -150% - compact view) after some time the selection skips a
lot of files and moves to one of the last few files in the folder. There
will be a few more files but the files cannot be selected using the down
key. However, it is possible to move up or left using other keys but
when the down key is pressed it again skips files.

To reproduce the problem

Open nautilus (compact view - zoom 150% - sorting by name)
open the folder /usr/bin
now select the first file using in the keyboard.
Now keep on pressing the down key
Do not hold the down key pressed but release and press all the time to select
the next file. Otherwise the problem may not be understood
After selecting many files you will find that some files are now skipped
Pressing the down key any more does not help in selecting files further down.
You can however select previous file by using the up arrow key. other key
movements are possible but if the selection is changed by using other keys and
now you press the down keys it will again jump and skip files
This does not happen when the zoom is set to 100%
This happens in folders with a lot of files (like /usr/bin)
