I haven't been able to test Ubuntu on my laptop for some time, but I can
now confirm that with the latest intrepid I no longer see these messages
on resuming from suspend. That means the bug is fixed, because as per
Fabio's explanation below, having the messages in syslog is not a
problem, it was the fact that they were plastered all over the screen
during resume that was the bug.
