Nope, strange behavior with 2.6.27-2-generic: - eth0 appears, and seems to work, but does not receive any ethernet package
- When rebooting from 2.6.24 into 2.6.27 the kernel crashes in a very early stage of booting, before reaching the single user shell. It however boots normally when the machine was electrically turned off (still with problem describe above) - When rebooting from 2.6.27 into 2.6.24 with 8101 self-compiled driver, the ethernet does not work either, even the LED on the network switch is off. Pulling the cable out and plugging it in again helps. I'll attach the required files. ** Attachment added: "dmesg.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17161784/dmesg.log -- 2.6.26 kernel lacks realtek 8101 support https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/256331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
