But why aren't they marked required on wesnoth, really? Sorry if I'm sounding whiny, but my confusion comes from using the Add/Remove programs area to install the game. If I was a novice user (which maybe I am...), how would I know of the existence of other packages? There aren't any notes saying how or where to download other packages. It is only the shell of a game because you can only play multiplayer. I understand that this may just be my opinion and everyone plays the game just for the multiplayer, but I wanted it to be at least noted in this bug.
