Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kdebase
I'd like to create an icon on my desktop to launch an arbitrary program that isn't on the menus; say an old one I've built from source or a little wrapper script. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this on KDE 4.1 on Intrepid Alpha 4 - this exists on every other desktop system I've seen. I've created a KDE bug entry for it as well: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170138 ** Affects: kdebase Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: KDE Bug Tracking System #170138 http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170138 ** Also affects: kdebase via http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=170138 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- [intrepid/KDE] No way to create an arbitrary desktop icon https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263375 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
